In the european Countries, the Road traffic licensing regulations sets the framework for any vehicle homologation service. The registration of vehicles in in these Countries is to a large extent governed by these regulations. Today, however, registration matters are also governed by EU directives. The situation is such that you need to comply with more than 40 system permits before you are finally allowed to register your vehicle.

These regulations govern technical components, such as brakes, lighting, seats, seat-belts, glass … just to mention a few. Not until the testing and documentation of all these components is completed, will you be able to obtain the general registration permit for your vehicle.
